Thursday 22nd July	Mad Pudding (Vancouver)	Mad Pudding return to the pub for a third time. This time with fiddler and step dancer April Verch. "Probably The Best Band in the World and one of the best bands I have ever heard in an intimate atmosphere." - Dave Wheeler The band from Vancouver have played at the Shetland Folk Festival last year and several major Festivals throughout 1997 and 1998. The popularity of their last gig in Winster makes this event extra special - they now have lots of friends in the area!

Past Gigs

Artists have included Chris Hall (the new Paul McCartney album "Run Devil Run" and single "Brown Eyed Handsome man" feature Chris Hall on Cajun accordion recorded as a live cut at Abbey Road Studios in London with Dave Gilmour on Guitar, Ian Paice on Drums, Mick Green on Guitar, Pete Wingfield on Keyboards and Paul on Bass and vocals. The single is a mixture of cajun and Rock 'n' Roll with plenty of Cajun accordion all the way through giving it a very definite Louisiana bayou flavour!), The Bearcats, Alan Burke, Gina Le Faux, Tom Napper, Ciaran Boyle, Pierre Schryer Band (Canada), The Konnarock Critters (USA), Dezi Donnelly, Nancy Kerr & James Fagan, Georgina Le Faux, High Society, Zydecomotion, Isaac Guillory, Mad Pudding (Canada), The Long Note, Coalesce, The Mystery Boulevard Band and R.Cajun & The Zydeco Brothers.
